In the Governmental initiative of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, the book ‘Anirbapita Anal’ is a humble contribution on behalf of Cotton University. Through this book we have managed to retrieve untold stories of many female freedom fighters that got lost from the background of the freedom struggle of Assam in the time stream. The academicians from different disciplines, non-academicians along with the students have endeavoured to
repossess the enormous efforts laid by some of the women warriors of Assam.
The book was inaugurated by the Governor of Assam on 21.05.2022.
